Duties and responsibilities: monitor surveillance technicians work with observing electrical machines and look at heartbeat through a graphical machine. they examine patterns and report them to nurses or doctors. they also clean and maintain the equipment as a part of their job.

Salary: $26,000 – $41,000

Education: Students wanting to become Monitor Surveillance Technicians should take math, science, and computer technology courses in high school. Upon graduation from high school they may enroll in training programs at vocational schools, community colleges, or hospitals.  Program length varies from three months to two years.

Reflection: I think i might consider becoming a monitor surveillance technician because it seems like an easy job and you get paid pretty decent to start off, and it doesn’t take a lot of schooling.
